All patients new to the clinic must complete an initial acupuncture treatment. All patients new to the clinic must complete an initial acupuncture treatment. Initial acupuncture treatments involve a thorough intake where I ask questions about all of your body's systems, assess your condition, and develop a treatment plan from there. Additional modalities may be included, such as electro-acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, tui na, infrared heat therapy, ear seeds, and lifestyle and TCM nutritional recommendations. Follow up acupuncture treatments include the same, plus the addition of traditional Chinese herbal recommendations when applicable.

Herbal medicine

All acupuncture sessions include a prescription for traditional herbal medicine when interested/applicable. The following appointments are specifically for those who are only interested in herbs, or for those in need an updated herbal prescription.

Pediatric/Teens

For all of the young and adolescent patients, ages 0-18 years old. Every treatment is tailored to meet the specific requirements and match the temperament of your child. Treatments can include non-invasive, needle-free treatment alternatives and custom-made herbal formulas specifically for children.

Alexandra is a New York state licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She received her Master’s Degree from Pacific College of Health and Science after completing her clinical residency, where she treated over 350 patients with varying ailments. As a mother herself, Alexandra loves working with children and has a calm and gentle approach that makes her pediatric patients feel at ease. Alexandra is driven by a deep sense of humanitarianism, blending extensive knowledge with genuine compassion and empathy. Her passion lies in empowering individuals to feel truly comfortable and at peace in their own bodies.
